Patrol Division


The San Luis Police Department Patrol Division is made of four patrol squads. Each patrol squad has a sergeant and one corporal assigned to them along with several patrol officers. The patrol division is the backbone of the police department which is responsible for patrolling 33 square miles of city limits. Officers also patrol the outskirts of the city and assist other police departments on a daily basis. The duties of the patrol division is to ensure public safety and to respond to calls for service. 

Lieutenant
Victor Figueroa

Lieutenant Figueroa is a 12-year veteran of the police department. Lieutenant Figueroa's previous assignments have included being assigned as a Detective, Member of the Yuma County Narcotics Task Force and Patrol Sergeant. Lieutenant Figueroa is also a Field Training Officer, Terrorism Liaison Officer and General Instructor. Lieuteant Figueroa also served proudly in the United States Army. Lieutenant Figueroa is a graduate of Central Arizona Regional Law OfficersTraining Academy. (CARLOTA)

Marco Santana

Sergeant Santana is a 10-year veteran of the police department. Sergeant Santana's previous assignments have inlcuded being a School Resource Officer, Motor Officer and Patrol Sergeant. Sergeant Santana is currently a Driving Instructor and a High Risk Stops Instructor. Sergeant Santana currently holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Northern Arizona University. Sergeant Santana is a graduate of the Arizona Western Collage Law Enforcement Training Academy. (LETA)

Joel Sauceda

Sergeant Sauceda is a 17-year veteran of the police department. Sergeant Sauceda's previous assignments have inlcuded Detectves and being a Field Training Officer. Sergeant Sauceda is a graduate of the Arizona Western Collage Law Enforcement Training Academy. (LETA)

Nigel Reynoso

Sergeant Reynoso is a 10-year veteran of the police department. Sergeant Reynoso's previous assigments have inlcuded being assigned as a Detective, Terrorism Liaison Officer and Police Corporal. Sergeant Reynoso is also a Firearms and Taser Instructor, and is the Departments Police Chaplain. Sergeant Reynoso served proudly in the United States Marine Corps. Sergeant Reynoso graduated from the Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Center (SALETC).

Alfredo Campa

Sergeant Campa is a 15-year veteran of the police department. Sergeant Campa's previous assignments have included being assigned as a Detective, Terrorism Liaison Officer and Police Corporal. Sergeant Campa is a Field Training Officer, General Instructor and Driving Instructor. Sergeant Campa graduated from the Arizona Western Collage Law Enforcement Training Academy. (LETA)
